1988 OG True Blue III
Some people consider the 1988 Air Jordan III as "The Savior" of the Brand, as it introduced the romance aspect sneakers to their respective signature individual. Legendary Tinker Hatfield was brought to the scene to create a new ground breaking shoe...one that would eventually be one of the greatest shoes ever created. The original Air Jordan III introduced the use of the Jumpman silhouette on the actual shoe. It also lowered the collar height compared to the first two signature models. This particular TrueBlue model still to this day has a few minor differences compared to every reincarnation since its inception. If you look behind the tongue, the red fabric really stands out. These also have a red insole with a Nike Air stamped on there as well.
