There are shoe collectors, and there are Medicom Toy collectors... This collaboration works with both. In all honesty, the Nike Swift 3 is a shoe that I am not familiar with. I also don't know a single thing about this Medicom Toy collaboration and why it exists. What I do know is that there aren't a lot of them in existence.
I was told that the name of this model is the Nike Swift 3, but I can't find any concrete information. This shoe is from 2004, and the Alpha Project mark can be seen on the outsole. Zoom Air branding lives on the lateral forefoot panel and heel, so I'm assuming that zoom bags were used in the cushioning setup. This shoe also utilizes a unique lacing system, which incorporates eyelet usage in hidden midfoot panels.
The Medicom Toy company and Nike have teamed up for a slew of collaborations in the past, including some incredible Dunk low SB's and Air Force Ones. With that said, this basketball shoe doesn't really align with the past silhouettes. The only aspect that matches up is the usage of 3M here and their infamous 3M-based Dunk SB low from 2005.
